Marrah Ste. Marie

Welcome!

My name is Marrah Ste. Marie. I am a student at Western Carolina University achieving a bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in journalism and a minor in political science.

Currently, I work as the senior reporter for The Western Carolinian.

I also work as a sales intern for Old Edwards Hospitality Group at Old Edwards Inn and Spa.

I am the event coordinator for Society of Professional Journalists at WCU as well as a member of Public Relations Student Society of America and Students Against Sexual Assault.

Previously, I worked as a marketing coordinator for WCU’s Department of Campus Activities. While in that position, I ran @WCUCampusActivities‘ Instagram. During that time, WCU’s Department of Campus Activities won the National Association of Campus Activities award for best social media page along with two other marketing awards. I have also received two DECA state awards for my projects and qualified for internationals twice.
